He literally blends in with his green-brown surroundings: the forests of the Swabian Jura. Why does he do that? Mark is a forester and is responsible for his district and its successful forestry. He ensures that his forest stays healthy. To do this, he selects trees that need to be felled or specially protected.
But Mark also always keeps an eye on the game, because in the forest it is important to maintain balance. And an extra pair of watchful eyes can't hurt. The dachshund Ella is only too happy to help. Her sense of smell has proven particularly valuable. The two are a well-rehearsed team - not only when they roam through the forest, but also when they are waiting.
