Ulli, the eagle owl and the missing Uuuuuh Uuuuuuh

Ulli, the eagle owl, lived in a big forest. Every morning he woke the forest inhabitants with a friendly “Uuuuuh Uuuuh”. And when his “Uuuuuh Uuuuuuh” rang out in the evening, the little foxes ran into their dens, the wild boars and deer ran back to their usual places, protected under the treetops they snuggled up to their family members.

Momo Pug

Momo loved cuddling, sleeping and eating. He had a wonderfully squishy face and was a little bit too round around the belly. That was because of his owner, who gave Momo all kinds of treats. Momo Mops lived with an old lady and was very happy. Every day after his walk he was petted and allowed to sleep on the sofa.

Santa Claus and the Fox

Santa had filled all the boots and socks and eaten a cookie here and there that had been put out for him to eat. Delicious. He especially liked the ones with chocolate and walnut pieces. Now he was full and tired. He rode through the night on his motorbike and enjoyed the cool morning air. It smelled of snow. In a few hours the first children woke up and were happy to receive Santa's greeting. That made him laugh. He loved making children happy. Santa threw his head back and laughed out loud with joy. He forgot to look at the road. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a shadow scurrying across the road in front of him.

Gagi and happiness

The duck family at the large pond in the forest was quacking excitedly because the chicks were hatching in those days. One after the other they struggled out of the eggshell and blinked curiously at their parents. One straggler was still lying in the nest and sleeping in the egg. The parents waited impatiently for the last chick to hatch.

Lulu, the black lamb

Lulu was born on a Thursday in April; she was the sixth lamb in the herd. But Lulu looked different from her friends. They all had white wool, only Lulu was black. The lambs didn't mind. They jumped around happily in the meadow and enjoyed the sun and the lush grass. The big sheep also accepted Lulu despite her black fur.

Dog with hat – for life

When Ela was born, Grandma Kati gave little Ela a stuffed animal. The dog was so fluffy that it looked like a young brown bear, and it wore a black hat and glasses. When Ela slept, the cuddly dog always lay close to her, every night, every moment. Her first word was Hud, although everyone was sure that she meant dog and not the headgear. When Ela grew older and learned to walk, she dragged the dog everywhere with her.

An animal shared flat

A big blond dog and a small black cat lived in a hut in the middle of the forest. The big blond dog collected berries, the small black cat hunted fish from the stream that ran past the house. They lived happily together. One day the big blond dog discovered a plastic bag lying around in the forest, which jumped away from him as soon as he approached it. "Stop, I'm your friend," barked the big blond dog, but the bag didn't listen to him.

The Rauschgold Angel

With bare feet I scurried across the cold hallway to Grandpa's room. It was Friday, Christmas Eve. My parents were still asleep, but Grandpa was already awake. He lifted his blanket and I quickly slipped under it. "Uh, your feet are cold," he laughed. "Grandpa, will you tell me a story? A Christmas story with angels and stars and stuff like that?" Grandpa nodded.
